My daughter, Rachel, sang one of the Vivaldi solos at the Bach Cantata Choir solos. This was her first solo as a classical musician. She sang beautifully, her tone was clear, warm and strong and she sang with deep emotion. I was very proud of her. The whole concert was beautiful – with exquisite playing by the Cantata Chamber Orchestra. Especially wonderful were players, Paul Pitkin, oboe; Mary Rowell & Tatiana Kolchanova, violins; John Cox & Joseph Berger, french horns; Bruce Dunn, Jeff Snyder & Toshi Kusaka, trumpets.

I hope to come sing a duet with Rachel at St David’s someday.
